Syrian Minister of Economy Dr A'mir Lutfi opened here on Saturday the pavilion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at Damascus International Exhibition in the presence of Dr Abdulrahman Al-Zamil, the Chairman of the Saudi Exports Development Center, and Saudi Charge D'affaires in Damascus Saud Katib. The function was attended by a number of Syrian ministers, international economists, members of the accredited Arab and foreign diplomatic corps and businessmen. A large number of Saudi companies and factories as well as governmental bodies are represented at the Saudi pavilion. In addition to the Kingdom, 48 countries including eleven Arab countries are participating in Damascus International Exhibition, which is staged on an area of 89, 258 square meters in the Syrian Capital. --MORE 1128 Local Time 0828 GMT
