Acting Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalid Alqusaibi has met with a number of officials of Saudi chambers of commerce and industry.
The acting minister said in a statement following the meeting yesterday that it was held on the basis of the wise leadership's keen desire to avoid any unwarranted increase in prices.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has recently ordered the increase by 15% of salaries of all categories of Saudis working at governmental departments and members of the Shoura (consultative) Council in addition to allocation of billions of riyals for improving services.
