The Royal Court announced today that the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz died today after an illness. The following is the biography of the late King Fahd: "The late King Fahd's full name is Fahd bin Abdulaziz bin Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman bin Faisal, bin Turki bin Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud bin Mohammed bin Meqrin bin Markhan bin Ibrahim bin Mousa bin Rabee'a bin Mani bin Rabee'a Al-Mureedi. The grand father of the Saudi family was Bakr bin Wa'il, from Bani Assad bin Rabee'a. King Fahd was born in Riyadh in 1923. He grew under the patronage of his father, the unifier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, King Abdulaziz. During his childhood, he joined the princes school in Riyadh. He also joined the Islamic institute in Makkah and was fully prepared to perform his future responsibilities. In the mid of his fourth decade, he received some studies in English as well as intensive courses in various political and literary topics. King Fahd carefully read books pertaining to senior world leaders. His companionship of his father King Abdulaziz had a positive impact on his character and led to enrichment of his ideas, and prepared him to assume the highest posts.
