Minister of Water and Electricity Abdullah Al-Hussayn has announced the launch of the second phase of the program for combining the water and electricity bills in six regions across Saudi Arabia - Riyadh, Asir, Tabuk, Qasim, Madinah and Makkah region - to cover 80 percent of the Kingdom, reported Al-Watan newspaper. The third phase will include the regions that do not have modern water administrations and these are Jouf, the northern border, Hail, Jazan, Najran and Baha, according to the report which was published today by Arab News. Al-Hussayn said that the Eastern Region was chosen to be the first in implementing the program, which has proven its success, because of its medium size and the availability of the necessary success factors.
