Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, chaired the cabinet's weekly session at Al-Yamamah palace in Riyadh on Monday. At the outset of the session, the Crown Prince briefed the Cabinet on the outcomes of his meeting with Jordan's King Abdullah II which dealt with the latest developments in the region particularly the Palestinian issue and the situation in Iraq. Aspects of cooperation between the two countries and ways of their enhancement were also reviewed. The Crown Prince also informed the Cabinet of the results of meetings, contacts and consultations held over the previous days with some leaders and officials of brotherly and friendly countries which focused on the latest developments of events in the region and the world and the Kingdom's position towards them. The Crown Prince briefed the Cabinet on the contents of messages which he has received from Morocco's king, delivered by Moroccan minister of foreign affairs and cooperation; from Kuwait's premier, delivered by Kuwaiti foreign minister; from Britain's premier, delivered by British Secretary of Defense, and from Guinea's president, delivered by the Guinean premier.
