Omani-Iranian Committee reviews steps to combat drug-smuggling

The joint Iranian-Omani Technical committee began its seventh meeting here today by focusing on borders' issues including smuggling of goods and individuals across the borders as well as means of combating drug-smuggling.
The Committee was co-chaired by Director General of Iranian Borders' Affairs Mohammed Haydari and Commander of Police in Iran's Al-Musandam Governorate Colonel Saleh Al-Maskari.
The joint Iranian-Omani Technical Committee holds meeting every six month alternately in Tehran and Muscat.
