Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Eng. Ali Al-Naimi met here today Jack Biblodo, the official in charge of Climatic Changes at the Canadian Ministry of Environment, and the accompanying delegation. Speaking on the occasion, Al-Naimi reiterated the great attention given by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the problems of environment. He hoped that the industrial countries would not adopt policies that might harm the interests of the developing countries under the pretext of environmental protection and climatic change. The meeting was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Assistant Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for Petroleum Affairs, and a number of senior officials.
