Officials from The Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) and from The Saudi Arabian Mining Company "Maaden" held a workshop at Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources headquarters to discuss mechanisms of cooperation between them to achieve joint interests. Their agreement focused on Rasalzur region, where Maaden plans to build its mega industrial compound, with an incentives package allocated for the less developed regions that SAGIA is hoping to develop. They also agreed on defining and promoting investment opportunities in the transfer industries that depend on Maaden products and to provide support to Maaden for expediting the implementation of its Rasalzur project.
