Quds city, June 19, SPA -- Two Palestinians fired a pair of rocket propelled grenades at an army base on the border between the Gaza Strip and Egypt on Sunday, wounding one soldier, the Israeli army said. The soldier's wounds were light to moderate, the Associated Press quoted army as saying. The attack came as U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice met with Israeli officials to help coordinate Israel's planned withdrawal from the Gaza Strip. The level of Israeli-Palestinian violence has dropped considerably since a truce was agreed to in February, however violence has repeatedly flared up.
