French minister in Cyprus to meet released hostage

French Foreign Minister Phillippe Douste-Blazy arrived in Cyprus on Sunday to meet French journalist Florence Aubenas, released after five months he was held hostage in Iraq.
A senior Cypriot diplomatic source said Douste-Blazy arrived on a government jet at a military airstrip in the western region of Paphos.
Aubenas was flying in from Iraq on a military aircraft and was scheduled to arrive at about 1230 GMT, the source said.
"They are expected to leave immediately afterwards for France," the source told Reuters.
