Egypt to host talks between Sudanese government and opposition Cairo, June 9, S

A three-way meeting is also expected June 15, MENA said, to be attended by Sudanese Vice President Ali Taha, NDA Chairman Mohammad Osman al-Merghani and Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA) leader John Garang.
A peace deal between the southern Sudanese SPLA and the government was also signed in January of this year, ending 21 years of conflict.
MENA said the meeting is expected to work out final details of a reconciliation agreement - paving the way for peace and reconstruction negotiations. ---SP 1352 Local Time 1052 GMT
