A residential building collapsed in the Egyptian Mediterranean city of Alexandria on Tuesday, killing at least four people and injuring at least 17 others, witnesses told Reuters. Local residents said more people were underneath the rubble, but did not know how many. Rescue workers pulled the bodies of a young boy, two men and a woman from the ruined building, witnesses said. At least 17 people were injured in the collapse, including a four-year-old boy who witnesses saw pulled from the rubble. Rescue workers were still digging through the remains of the building looking for survivors. Television pictures showed a large pile of collapsed masonry in a residential area. --SP 2345 Local Time 2045 GMT
