Saudi Minister of Culture and Information Iyad bin Ameen Madani made a visit to the headquarters of Arab League where he met with the Secretary General of the AL Amr Mousa. During the meeting, they discussed the importance of strengthening cooperation among Arab media in regional and international aspects. They also talked about the main goal of Arab Information Ministers council of confronting terrorism. The meeting was attended by Undersecretary of the Minister of Culture and Information for Information Affairs Dr. Abdullah bin Salih Al-Jaser and Saudi permanent representative to the AL Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan. In a press conference following the meeting, Madani told the press that the meeting was set to discuss a general view of the work of Arab Information Ministers as well the agenda of the forthcoming meeting. He also added that reaching a strategic Arab media is an endless process. Madani also said that new strategies in the Kingdom have since several years ago ushered in structural development in the information area.
