The Minister of Culture and Information Iyad bin Amin Madani announced that the Ministry's Agency for Engineering Affairs has completed the execution of a project on dealing with Nile Sat satellites to raise the signal of Saudi TV channels and broadcasting programs accompanied by these satellites, noting that operation started on May 9. The project provides the possibility of raising the signals of five TV channels and five broadcasting programs with the possibility of increasing the number of channels and programs in the future. The project is important since it is an additional reserve source of the satellite transmission signal currently existing via ARABSAT satellites and an additional source of a signal of other world satellites covering all over the world and using ARABSAT satellites as a source of a signal for retransmission of the 1st channel and accompanied broadcasting programs. It is worth noting that Nile Sat 102 covers Arab states and middle Africa.
