Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior, confirmed today that the health of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz is continuously improving. In a statement following an inauguration ceremony of a new batch of security forces trainees, which he patronized in Riyadh earlier today, Prince Naif said "thanks to Almighty Allah, the monarch's health is continuously improving". In response to a question, Prince Naif branded as false and lacking credibility the predictions by some news agencies which perpetually describe the health of King Fahd as critical. The Minister of Interior disclosed that Syria has recently extradited more than 30 Saudis who were trying to infiltrate into Iraq from Syria, indicating that the extradition incident is not the first of its kind between the two countries. No terrorist cells under formation spotted, he said, denying circulating press reports that security forces have recently detected a new list of terrorists. We can guess that some companions of the detainees might have had the intention to join them at the moment they were apprehended, he analyzed. Asked about the trial of detainees following the most recent bombings in the Kingdom, he said they will all be brought to justice. --More 2228 Local Time 1928 GMT
