The Governor of Investment General Authority Amr bin Abdullah Al-Dabbagh has recently concluded a visit to the United States of America. During the visit, he moderated the dialogue 2nd session of Saudi-U.S. Symposium organized by Washington-based World Strategic Studies Center. His visit aimed at promoting investment opportunities in the fields of energy, transportation and industries. Al-Dabbagh held meetings with leaders of ten companies and Senator Hillary Clinton of New York State. On the other hand, the Authority's survey showed that the volume of U.S. direct investment in the Kingdom amounted to SR 30 billion by the end of 2004, representing the shares of U.S. partners in 197 projects licensed in accordance with the foreign investment regulation in the Kingdom.
