Talabani to visit Jordan Saturday

Iraqi leader Jalal Talabani will
visit Jordan on Saturday, his first trip abroad since he
was elected president in April, the official Petra news
agency reported Thursday.
High on the agenda for the two day visit _ made after an
invitation from Jordan's King Abdullah II _ is to "develop
the mechanism of cooperation between the two countries,"
Petra said, without elaborating.
