Crude Oil Prices rise

than 1 1/2 cents at US$1.4825 a gallon (3.8 liters), while
heating oil jumped more than a penny to reach US$1.4676.
On London's International Petroleum Exchange, June Brent
rose 78 cents to US$51.75 a barrel.
The Department of Energy reported Wednesday that U.S.
crude oil supplies rose by 2.6 million barrels last week,
bringing inventories in the world's largest energy consumer
to 327 million barrels _ 9 percent above last year's level
and the highest since July 1999.
