The U.S. dollar slipped against the euro Friday, as the 12-nation currency rebounded from gains made by the dollar on better-than-expected U.S. jobs news the previous day. The euro bought US$1.3066 in morning European trading, up from US$1.3058 in late New York trading Thursday. U.S. Labor Department data Thursday showing that last week's jobless claims dropped by 36,000 _ the biggest fall in more than three years _ helped the dollar.
