Israeli soldiers stationed on the volatile border between the Gaza Strip and Egypt shot dead three Palestinians youths Saturday afternoon, officials on both sides said. Initial Palestinian reports had said the three were killed while running and playing in the area between Rafah town and the border. Two others Palestinians were initially reported to have fled. However, Palestinian security officials said the Israelis they had detained the two . Israeli military officials commented after the killings that the youths were shot after being spotted in a 'no-go' zone and failing to heed warning shots.
