Sheikh Yousaf Jameel, the President of ALJ Group UAE, a leading investor from Saudi Arabia, along with a delegation, has met Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, according to an official statement. The Pakistan government is committed to provide health facilities to the people and have allocated necessary funds for research in the nuclear health care field, the prime minister told the delegation. Aziz stressed that there is need for latest research in the fields of medicine and pharmaceutical sector and called upon the private sector to join hands with Government for this noble cause. While giving an overview of the Pakistan's economy, the prime minister said that said that Pakistan offers opportunities for the investors. He said that Pakistan's economy will be amongst the top ten high growth Asian countries. _Our economy is expected to cross the 7% growth rate this year and all macroeconomic indicators are showing the signs of a stable and growing economy,_ the prime minister added. Aziz said that the structural reforms and improved macroeconomic situation has created an enabling environment for investment in Pakistan and government is providing all facilities to the foreign and domestic investor. Sheikh Yousaf Jameel commented the economic policies and reforms undertaken by the Pakistan government and said that Pakistan provides a lot of opportunities to investors and his group is interested to invest in establishing a cancer hospital that will be equipped with state of the art machinery, equipment and all latest facilities. ALJ group's interests include pharmaceuticals, technology and healthcare and Jameel said that his group will invest in all these sectors.
