A five-member Malaysian businessmen delegation has met Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and discussed business opportunities in Pakistan. Prominent Malaysian businessman Vincent Tan leads the delegation, which is paying a visit to Pakistan to explore business and investment opportunities in Pakistan, an official statement said. The Malaysian team showed interest in tourism and housing sectors in Pakistan. The prime minister told the delegation that the Pakistan government has provided a level playing field for investment and there is no restriction on the flow of capital. Economy of Pakistan, Aziz said, was flourishing and due to the economic reforms and liberalization policies of the government the growth rate could reach at 7% instead of the target of 6.4%. Agriculture, exports, foreign exchange reserves and all other economic indicators are showing upward trend, said the prime minister.
