Prince Al-Waleed BinTalal Bin Abdul-Aziz of Saudi Arabia arrives in Pakistan on Sunday for a two-day visit at the invitation of President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz. During his visit to Pakistan, Prince Al-Waleed will meet the president, prime minister, federal ministers and others dignitaries of the Pakistan government as well as members of the business community, officials said. Commenting on Prince Al-Waleed's visit, Saudi Ambassador Ali Awadh Asseri to Pakistan termed it crucially important in the context of the efforts to further develop the already existing close relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. "On the one hand, the visit is a reflection of the close bonds that already exist between our two countries while, on the other hand, it will open new avenues to further expand the level of the existing cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan," the ambassador said. Asseri hoped that the visit would not only attract other Saudi investors, but it would also build the confidence of the international investors to come to Pakistan to start new projects. At the same time, he said, it should motivate the Pakistan entrepreneurs for investments in Saudi Arabia.
