The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that moderate to heavy thunderstorms continue to fall, leading to the flow of torrential rains accompanied by showers of hail and active winds that limit the horizontal visibility in parts of the regions of Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, Asir, Jazan, and Najran, while the opportunity is still ripe for thunderstorms accompanied by active winds in parts of the eastern region as well as in parts of the heights of the Al-Baha and Makkah regions. The report showed that the movement of surface winds over the Red Sea is northwesterly to northerly in the central and northern parts, and will be southerly to southeasterly, turning at night in the southern part at a speed of 18-40 km/h. The wave height is from one to two meters in the northern and central parts, and from a half meter to one and a half meter in the southern part. The state of the sea is light to medium waves in the northern and central parts. The movement of surface winds over the Arabian Gulf is north-northwesterly at a speed of 16-38 km/h. The wave height is from one to one and a half meter, while the state of the sea is medium-wave.
