The Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), Dr Salem bin Mohammad Al-Malik, held meetings last night in the US state of Colorado with a group of senior officials in the US and international institutions interested in space, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in areas of common interest. The meetings, which were on the sidelines of the 38th Space Symposium, dealt with the prospects for cooperation in providing training opportunities and scholarships for students and researchers from ICESCO member states in US universities, mechanisms for building a partnership in the field of qualifying young people from the Islamic world in the fields of modern technology and the aviation industry, in addition to other topics of interest
