Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, met here today with Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) Dr. Salem bin Mohammad Al-Malik, on the sidelines of the 23rd session of the Conference of Arab Culture Ministers, which was held today in Riyadh and organized by the Ministry of Culture, in cooperation with the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO). During the meeting, they discussed the most prominent current cooperation programs between the ICESCO and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Minister of Culture also valued the efforts exerted by the ISESCO in the cultural field of the member states, including its efforts in preserving the heritage in the countries of the Islamic world. The meeting witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Culture and ICESCO to enhance cultural cooperation in various cultural fields.
