More than 2.5 million worshippers gathered this evening, on the night of the 29th of Ramadan, to perform the Isha and Taraweeh prayers and witness the completion of the Holy Quran recitation at the Grand Mosque, which had been filled with worshippers since the early hours of the day. Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, the Imam of the Grand Mosque of Makkah who led the prayers, prayed to Almighty Allah to protect the Islamic nation, the Kingdom, and all Muslim countries from all evil and bless them with stability and safety. In line with the directives of the Saudi leadership, the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque mobilized all its capabilities through an integrated operating system and provided all necessary arrangements to ensure the safety and comfort of Umrah performers, enabling them to spend their time in tranquillity and serenity.
