The Republic of Yemen has welcomed the statement made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia regarding the visit of their team to Sana'a, which was led by Ambassador Mohammed Al Jaber. The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, in a statement published by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), expressed their appreciation for the Kingdom's continuous efforts to alleviate human suffering and to revive the peace track in Yemen, which is an extension of the initiative announced in March 2021. The statement further reaffirmed the Yemeni government's support for the Kingdom's efforts, as well as for all regional and international endeavors aimed at ending the war and achieving just and sustainable peace. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also reiterated the government's commitment to ending the suffering of Yemenis and its positive response to all endeavors aimed at bringing peace to Yemen, along with reaching a comprehensive and lasting political solution based on agreed terms of reference.
