King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has delivered 3,000 metric tons of dates to the U.N. World Food Program (WFP), to be distributed to 1.8 million people in six Yemeni governorates. Director of the World Food Office in Aden, Mark Jordan, stressed the importance of the aid provided by the Kingdom through KSrelief, which will contribute to meeting the needs of the needy and affected people in Yemen. He said the distribution process is carried out according to a precise mechanism targeting those who are eligible. This aid comes within the humanitarian and relief projects provided by the Kingdom, represented by the KSrelief, to provide food security for the Yemeni people and improve their living conditions in all fields.
