The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that moderate and torrential thundershowers, accompanied by active dusty winds will continue to fall on some parts of Makkah, Madinah, Tabuk, Qassim, Hail, Northern Borders, and Al-Jawf regions, while moderate thundershowers are forecasted to fall on some parts Najran, Jazan, Asir, Eastern, and Riyadh regions. The report added that the surface dusty winds will be active on the coastal parts of Makkah Region, reducing the horizontal sight and the temperature will be decreased in some parts of the Northern Borders, and Al-Jawf regions. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea would be southeasterly to southwesterly at a speed of 20-40 km/h, and southwesterly to northwesterly at a speed of 20-40 km/h reaching more than 45 km/h, with thunderstorms, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be southerly to southeasterly, at a speed of 15-30 km/h, on the northern part and westerly to northwesterly, gradually turning northerly at a speed of 15-30 km/h on the southern part.
