Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh, confirmed that the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, through the General Secretariat for Islamic Awareness of Hajj, Umrah, and Visit, provided nearly one million awareness services to the Umrah performers and visitors of the Grand Mosque through the Islamic awareness booths spread in Al-Taneem Mosque in Makkah and the participating preachers, in multiple international languages since starting the second phase of Islamic awareness programs. This came during his visit today to the Al-Taneem Mosque in Makkah, during which he was briefed on the mosque's facilities and services that are provided to the Umrah performers and visitors. The minister explained that the advocacy of guidance and services consist of guiding the pilgrims, answering their questions related to the rituals of Umrah, explaining the virtues of the month of Ramadan, distributing religious pamphlets in different international languages, operating the electronic library that includes hundreds of electronic books, and taking all possible means to serve and comfort the visitors during their Umrah journey. Al-Sheikh also visited the Islamic awareness booths at the Mosque, met with preachers and translators, and participated in distributing religious booklets and masks to the mosque's visitors, in addition to inspecting the level of services provided by preachers at the Al-Taneem Mosque, urging them to exert more efforts in the Islamic awareness, and guidance for Umrah performers.
