The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been ranked seventh among the G20 members, with a score of 94.4% in the safety audit results of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The ICAO's Safety Report is a global safety oversight audit that provides a detailed analysis of global civil aviation safety performance for operations. The Kingdom's global achievement is the culmination of cooperation of all civil aviation sectors in upgrading the aviation systems and operations and safety standards. During a ceremony to celebrate the new global achievement, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej said that it is one of several other successes the Kingdom has achieved in the sector thanks to the Saudi leadership's support and the cooperation of all concerned agencies. Al-Duailej added the GACA is working on implementing its strategic plans and targets, which seek to achieve excellence in services and obtain the highest scores at national and international levels. He thanked all government agencies, security bodies, government institutions, national companies working at airports, national carriers and CEOs for their contributions to this global achievement.
