The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has inaugurated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Programme for Iftar in Amman for 1444 Hijri. Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Nayef Bin Bandar Al-Sudairi said that this year's programme is an extension of a long journey of giving by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to meet the needs of Muslims around the world. The attendees commended the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts in the service of Islam and Muslims everywhere, emphasising the impact the programme has on beneficiaries. They also expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the government of Saudi Arabia. The programme targets distributing 12,500 meals in various Jordanian governorates, Palestinian and Syrian refugee camps, as well as at charity associations and orphanages.
