A Dialogue-Forum between Saudi and Filipino businessmen started its deliberations today in Manila. The Forum's participants were well-briefed on the Saudi economy and the various kinds of dates available in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which could serve as a major exporting product. The Saudi delegation, headed by Waleed Al-Suwaidan, was also informed about Filipino market and its needs. Philippines' Assistant Minister of Economy delivered a speech in which he said that this visit is a positive move to strengthen the bilateral relations in the field of trade and commercial exchange. Philippines Minister of Trade and Industry Kuan Santos attended another meeting organized by Filipino Commercial and Industrial Chamber. Addressing the attendees, Santos said that he will direct all commercial and investment bodies to facilitate Saudi investments. The proceedings of the Forum and the meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Manila Mohammed Ameen Mohammed Wali.
