The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that the thundershowers, accompanied by active winds are still forecasted to fall on some parts of Jazan, Asser, Baha, Makkah and Madinah regions, as well as some parts of Tabuk, Qassim and Hail regions, extending to the eastern parts of the Northern Borders Region (Rafha), the northern parts of the Eastern Region ( Hafar Al-Batin) and the western parts of Riyadh Region, reducing the horizontal sight. The report added that the temperatures will decrease on the western parts of the Northern Borders (Turaif), Jawf (Qurayyat) and Hail regions. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be southerly to southwesterly, gradually turning westerly at speed of 15-35km/h, on the northern and central parts and southeasterly to southwesterly at speed of 20-40km/h, on the southern part, reaching more than 50km/h, towards Bab el-Mandeb Strait, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be southeasterly to easterly at speed 10-25km/h, on the northern part and southwesterly to northwesterly at speed 10-25km/h, on the southern part.
