The CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, hosted the Finance Minister of the Maldives, Ibrahim Ameer, and his accompanying delegation at the SFD headquarters today. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the challenges and the sustainable solutions of SFD-funded development projects and programs in the Maldives. The Fund has supported 13 projects and development programs in various sectors, including infrastructure, health, transportation, communications, housing, urban development, and seaports, through soft development loans. Meanwhile, Al-Marshad also met with Kenya's Cabinet Secretary(CS) for Investments, Trade, and Industry, Moses Kiarie Kuria, and his accompanying delegation in the presence of the Kenyan Ambassador to the Kingdom, Peter Ogego. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest.
