Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed yesterday a cooperation agreement with a civil society organization to provide food aid to the affected people in several governorates of the Republic of Yemen for the year 2023, benefiting 253,659 people, on the sidelines of the Third Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum (RIHF). Under the agreement, 179,982 food baskets will be distributed in the governorates of Marib, Al-Jawf, Hadramout, Shabwa, Al-Mahra, Island of Socotra, Hodeidah and the areas adjacent to Hajjah and Saada governorates. This comes within the framework of the humanitarian and relief projects provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to enhance food security in Yemen.
