Dr. Khalid Abdullah bin Bakr, Director General of the Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA), said today the Saudi national carrier has transported 346, 000 pilgrims aboard 1277 arriving and departing flights from and to Madinah-based Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz airport during the recently-concluded Hajj season. In a key address at a ceremony organized by SAUDIA to mark the end of Hajj season, Dr. Bakr said 126 flights arrived at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz airport on 28 Zul-Qaeda 1425 H., the highest rate of arrivals in one day and that 125 flights departed from the station on 2nd of Muharram 1426 H. representing the highest rate of departures in one day during last Hajj.
