The Vice-Minister for Mining Affairs, Eng. Khalid Al-Mudaifer, is leading the Saudi Arabia delegation at Africa's leading mining industry event, Mining Indaba. The event is taking place in Cape Town, South Africa February 6-9 under the theme "Unlocking African Mining Investment: Stability, Security, and Supply". The delegation represented under the umbrella of "Invest Saudi", features other leaders from within MIM, as well as senior representatives of the Ministry of Investment, National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) and the National Industrial Development Center (NIDC). Al-Mudaifer will deliver a speech titled "Partners of Africa: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia" on the opening day of the conference. He will discuss the promising investment opportunities in the Kingdom's mining sector and update attendees on investment regulations and legislation. The KSA Pavilion will showcase the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to transform its mining sector by making its geological data more accessible, updating its mining ecosystem to make doing business in the country simpler, building a foundation of sustainability and developing a mining sector based on integrated value chains. The delegation is also holding a workshop event called "The KSA Showcase" to highlight the incentives provided to investors and how the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources' ecosystem is facilitating the investors journey.
