Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Bayez, Assistant Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) for Operations and Programs, met here yesterday with UK Special Envoy to the Horn of Africa and Red Sea Sarah Montgomery and her accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they reviewed ways to support humanitarian work in the Horn of Africa in various fields. They discussed methods of humanitarian response in Ethiopia, Kenya, and Somalia, as well as the humanitarian situation in Sudan and South Sudan. For his part, Al-Bayez affirmed the Kingdom's continued commitment, as represented by the KSrelief, to saving and improving the lives of thousands of people in desperate need of assistance, highlighting the KSrelief's active role in alleviating the suffering of vulnerable and needy communities around the world, as well as joint projects and programs between the KSrelief and Britain in this regard. Meanwhile, Sarah Montgomery praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's enormous humanitarian efforts through KSrelief, underlining the importance of concentrated international efforts to assist needy groups in many countries and improve their living situations.
