King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) participated - via video conference - yesterday in the launch ceremony of the Regional Migrants Response Plan (MRP) by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for the Horn of Africa and Yemen for the year 2022. KSRelief representative, Assistant General Supervisor for Operations and Programs, Engineer Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, praised during his speech on this occasion the distinguished relations and continuous cooperation between KSRelief and IOM, highlighting the role played by the organization to meet the humanitarian needs of the displaced individuals, and refugees and its support provided to host governments for the good of the refugees. Eng. Al-Baiz also underlined the center's contribution since its inception in 2015 to support migrants, refugees, and displaced persons in cooperation with IOM, citing the center's agreements with the organization to implement 26 projects in Yemen, Myanmar, Somalia and Syria at a total cost of more than $105 million, stressing the center's commitment to providing humanitarian assistance to improve the living conditions of migrants, refugees, and displaced persons.
