The Muslim World League (MWL) condemned the Israeli occupation forces' storming the city and camp of Jenin in the State of Palestine, in grave violation of international and humanitarian laws and norms. In a statement by the General Secretariat of the League, its Secretary-General, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, denounced what he called a blatant attack that caused massive loss of life. He called for the importance of efforts for a just and comprehensive peace, and stopping all practices that undermine the chances of a solution in the occupied territories, reaffirming the MWL's firm position in support of the Palestinian people. Dr. Al-Issa also called on the international community to intervene quickly to prevent any dangerous escalation that leads to the collapse of the solution of the cause, and the continuation of violence, the price of which is paid by innocent blood, and which sets back peace efforts. He offered his sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and the injured, and to the government and people of Palestine, praying to Allah Almighty to protect the people of Palestine from all harm.
