The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that the sky will be partly cloudy, with occurring of thunderstorms, accompanied by active winds on some parts of Jazan, Assir, Baha and Makkah regions, extending to heights of Madinah and hail regions and the fog will be seen on some parts these regions, as well as some parts of Northern Borders, Jawf, Eastern and Riyadh regions. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be northeasterly to northwesterly at speed of 15-30km/h, on northern and central parts and southeasterly to southwesterly at speed of 20-40km/h on southern part, reaching 50km/h, on Bab el-Mandeb Strait, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to northeasterly, gradually turning easterly at speed of 10-25km/h.
