The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that moderate and torrential thundershowers, accompanied by active winds are forecasted to fall on some parts of Jazan, Asir, Baha and Makkah regions, while the sky will be partly cloudy, accompanied by thunderstorms on some parts of Madinah, Riyadh, Qassim, Northern Borders, Hail and Jawf regions, extending to the northern part of Eastern Region and the fog will be seen during the night and early morning hours on some parts the said regions. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be northerly to northwesterly at speed of 10-30km/h on northern part and southeasterly to southwesterly at speed of 15-40km/h, reaching 45 km/h with thunderclouds on central and southern parts, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be easterly to southeasterly on northern part and northerly to northeasterly on southern part at speed of 15-35km/h.
