The Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen (SPDRY) has achieved unprecedented educational achievements through its projects that support the infrastructure of the education sector in Yemen, by building 23 new model schools in various Yemeni governorates, aiming at supporting education in Yemen. The new model schools established and equipped by the SPDRY are distributed over 23 regions in the governorate of Al-Mahra, Socotra, Aden, Taiz, Hadramout, Marib and Hajjah, where the selection of their sites came after evaluating the needs of these areas by the development specialists in the program.
