The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that the thunderstorms, accompanied by active winds are still forecasted to occur on some parts of Asir, Jazan and Baha regions and the heights of Makkah and Madinah regions, as well as Northern Borders and Al-Jawf regions, reducing the horizontal sight, while the dense fog will be seen during the night and early morning hours on some parts of Eastern region. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be northerly to northwesterly, gradually turning westerly at speed of 10-25km/h, on the northern and central parts and southerly to southwesterly, gradually turning westerly on the southern part at speed of 15-30km/h, reaching 40km/h with thunderclouds, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to northerly gradually turning northeasterly at speed of 10-20km/h, on northern part and easterly to northeasterly, gradually turning northerly at speed of 10-20mk/h on southern part.
