Under patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the second edition of the Global Cybersecurity Forum – the pioneering global platform in opening knowledge aspects on cybersecurity issues and building up cooperation foundations – is scheduled to kick off tomorrow with the participation of 120 high-level international speakers and the presence of participants from more than 100 countries. The forum, organized by the National Cybersecurity Authority under the theme: "Rethinking the Global Cyber Order," will be organized on November 9 and 10 in Riyadh with the participation of the elite of decision makers, CEOs, senior government officials and representatives of top global companies, NGOs and academia from across the globe. The forum also stresses the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's global entrepreneur status in supporting international efforts and unifying joint endeavors in discussing strategic issues and cooperation opportunities among international partners in the cybersecurity field. The forum will see more than 30 discussion panels on a range of topics discussing prospects for change in the cyber field, cyber economies, geo-cyber development, the future of cyber work and cybersecurity for all. The forum will also address the importance of international cooperation and discuss practical solutions to bridge the global cybersecurity gap, explore the future of cybersecurity and ensure that cybersecurity is achieved for all societies. The Global Cybersecurity Forum is an international interactive platform for all cybersecurity stakeholders from representatives of government and private sectors, non-profit organizations, and education and academia around the world, and aims at transferring knowledge on cybersecurity topics and building the foundations of cooperation between countries and organizations so that the cybersecurity sector becomes an empowering component in addressing future challenges and the economic and social development industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and beyond.
