Prince Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Eyaf Al-Meqrin, the Mayor of Riyadh, and who is also the Head of the local committee for the municipal elections in Riyadh region, announced last night that the number of voters in Riyadh region amounted to 56354, while the total number of votes at all constituencies amounted to 321,808. The winner in the first constituency was Abdullah Ahmad Fozan Al-Suweilim (21405 votes) The winner in the second constituency was Suleiman Salih Suleiman Al-Rashoudi (14868 votes) The winner in the third constituency was Tariq Othman Abdullah Al-Kasabi (20416 votes) The winner in the fourth constituency was Abdulaziz Ibrahim Suleiman Al-Omari (14311 votes) The winner in the fifth constituency was Omar Mohammed Omar Basudan (12237 votes) The winner in the sixth constituency was Ibrahim Hamad Ibrahim Al-Qu'eid (12808 votes) The winner in the seventh constituency was Musfir Abdullah Yahya Al-Bawardi (13411votes) Prince Al-Meqrin reiterated that the municipal elections were held in a fair and accurate manner. He noted that a number of governmental authorities including the Ministry of Education, King Saud University, Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University and Riyadh Municipality had participated in the organization of the municipal elections.
