The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attack launched by the Houthi terrorist militia yesterday, on the Al-Dabba oil Terminal in Hadramout Governorate. The Secretary-General of the OIC, Hissein Brahim Taha, stressed that this terrorist attack represents a threat to energy supplies at the regional and international levels, and is a violation of UN Security Council Resolution No. 2216, a violation of international laws and norms, a threat to global energy corridors and a threat to the marine environment. The General Secretariat renews its support for the efforts of the UN and its Special Envoy, as well as the efforts of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The OIC affirms its permanent support for Yemen in order to alleviate the suffering of its people and realize its hopes and aspirations for peace, security, stability and development. At the same time, the OIC called on the Houthi militia to respond to international and regional efforts to renew the truce, and to cooperate with all efforts to reach a political and comprehensive solution to the Yemeni crisis.
