King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) implemented the voluntary medical program to combat blindness and its causes in Senegal, within the "Noor Saudi Arabia" volunteer program from September 1 to 5, 2022, in cooperation with Al-Basar International Foundation. KSrelief's volunteer medical team examined, over the past days, 5,700 cases, distributed 1,300 eyeglasses, and successfully performed 453 eye surgeries. This campaign is an extension of the projects related to combating blindness implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, for low-income families in a number of brotherly and friendly countries.
